香港體育舞蹈聯盟有限公司（簡稱『體舞盟』）是中國香港體育協會暨奧林匹克委員會屬下唯一負責統籌全港體育舞蹈（拉丁舞及標準舞）的體育總會。體舞盟亦是國際體育舞蹈聯盟 (IDSF) 及亞洲體育舞蹈聯盟 (ADSF) 的唯一香港官方代表。
體舞盟的宗旨包括：
- 提倡及推廣體育舞蹈運動
- 組織及籌辦體育舞蹈比賽及活動
- 甄選及訓練運動員參加國際性體育舞蹈比賽
普及化：為廣泛推廣體育舞蹈給老中青幼的全港市民，體舞盟獲康樂及文化事務署資助，定期舉辦學校推廣計劃及社區體育會計劃的體育舞蹈課程。
精英化：體舞盟致力培訓精英運動員，並在香港2009東亞運動會體育舞蹈競賽成功獲得3面獎牌。同時，體舞盟亦成立香港代表隊，並安排「小班教學」，力求在國際賽事上再創佳績，並達至長遠的可持續發展。
盛事化：體舞盟主辦一年一度的盛事，香港體育舞蹈節，獲大型體育活動事務委員會頒發香港大型體育盛事“M”品牌。其他成功的盛事包括：締造最多對舞者跳舞的健力士世界紀錄、香港2009東亞運動會體育舞蹈競賽。
Hong Kong DanceSport Association Limited (HKDSA) is the only national sports association in Hong Kong under Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, responsible for DanceSport development (Latin American Dance and Standard Dance). HKDSA is also the only Hong Kong official representative of International DanceSport Federation (IDSF) and Asian DanceSport Federation (ADSF).
Objectives of HKDSA are:
- To advocate and promote DanceSport
- To organize DanceSport competitions and activities
- To select and train elite athletes to participate in international DanceSport competitions
Popular sports: to promote DanceSport to the community, HKDSA organizes DanceSport courses under School Sports Program and Community Sports Club Project subvented by Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
Elite sports: HKDSA has been supporting athletes' training, with a successful breakthrough of 3 medals in Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games DanceSport Competition. In addition, Hong Kong Team is also established and is offered with "focused training", aiming at better results in international competitions and more, sustainable development in long term.
Mega sports: the annual event organized by HKDSA, Hong Kong DanceSport Festival, is awarded with the brand of major sports event, "M" Mark, by Major Sports Events Committee. Other past achievements include: Guinness World Records Breaking–the Largest Dance by Couples, Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games DanceSport Competition. |
